Tim Nash is an Oscar and BAFTA award-winning producer and a co-founder of Somesuch. Tim’s career began as a music video producer before he became a commissioner at Atlantic Records. Somesuch was founded in 2010 and is now one of the leading and most highly-awarded production houses globally. Over the last decade, the company has gained a reputation for expansive and culturally resonant work.
This year Somesuch was awarded the Palm d’Or at the Cannes Lions. They added this honor to a number of Lions over the years including four Grand Prix awards, three Titanium Lions, and four Glass Lions. Somesuch has been named Production Company of the Year by CICLOPE, the British Arrows, and Campaign Magazine on multiple occasions. Additionally, Somesuch was named Production Company of the Decade by Campaign Magazine and received D&AD’s Black Pencil of the Decade award. The company has repeatedly been named on AdAge’s “Production Company A-List” and has also been their “Production Company of the Year”.
Recent projects include Leo Leigh’s Sweet Sue distributed by Curzon Films on which Tim was a producer. He’s currently in pre-production on Harris Dickinson’s debut film Genera with BBC Films, and is developing a project called The Trailer with Anonymous Studios set to be directed by Kim Gehrig.
