SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR: you’ll be responsible for helping to craft impactful messaging, engage with our audience, build a loyal online community, and drive interaction across digital platforms.
DATA MANAGER: you’ll play a key role in shaping our delegate experience, optimizing data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the seamless integration of our CRM system.

Social Media & Communications Coordinator
Job Overview
We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Social Media & Communications Coordinator to join CICLOPE’s dynamic team.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in crafting impactful messaging, engage with our audience, build a loyal online community, and drive interaction across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in graphic design and animation tools for social media. They have a keen eye for detail, excel in copywriting, and ensure precision in every aspect of their work. This is a unique chance to be part of an innovative event, and a small but mighty global team who are collaborative, entrepreneurial, creative and growing.
Location: Remote
Contract: Full time 3 months a year (Aug – Oct), part time remainder of year. Fixed term contract with immediate start until Dec 2025 with option to extend.
Reports to: Communications Manager
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Management
- Design, create and publish social media assets for each channel to fulfil the comms schedule, following the CICLOPE brand guidelines.
- Work together with the Communications Manager to have the tone of the posts match the overall CICLOPE message.
- Moderate and interact with the online CICLOPE community members.
- Check comms metrics regularly to make the necessary adjustments to social media content and publication processes.
- Work together with the Communications Manager to plan paid media socials campaigns, executing these campaigns to grow the community and push sales.
Email Marketing & Website Management
- Work together with the Communications Manager to create and send the CICLOPE newsletter.
- Update all festival websites (WordPress) and app (Swapcard) throughout the year; creating new Jury and Speaker profiles on the websites, Festival Programme pages, CICLOPE Stories, homepage updates etc.
- Ensure that all published information is accurate and up to date, making changes to bio/photos/links/logos etc for Jury, Speakers, Sponsors and Festival Programme details on the website and app.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in social media management, audience engagement, and paid media campaigns.
- Proficient in graphic design and animation tools for social media.
- Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with WordPress
- Data-driven mindset to optimize content performance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
CRM & Data Management
- Oversee the implementation and integration of a CRM system.
- Manage relationships with CRM providers and third-party platforms.
- Design, document, and implement data management processes.
- Ensure database accuracy and develop reporting tools.
- Align CRM functionality with the needs of all departments.
- Safeguard data integrity across all departments.
- Develop and implement data acquisition and segmentation strategies.
Delegate & Festival Management
- Manage delegate registration and accreditation processes.
- Train and oversee temporary onsite accreditation teams.
- Enhance delegate experience for CICLOPE Festival.
- Work with IT to optimize ticketing UX.
- Improve onsite attendee experience with the Production team.
- Increase delegate attendance through targeted initiatives.
Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities
- Document and improve the end-to-end customer journey.
- Analyze customer data to drive insights and improvements.
- Develop and enforce a comprehensive data strategy.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in CRM implementation and data management.
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Preferably a background in event management, delegate experience, or customer experience strategy. Experience managing temporary teams onsite at events is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive data-informed decisions.
- Experience in process optimization and system integrations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
