SPECIAL AWARDS
CICLOPE Festival does not only award Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies in each category, but also honors the most successful performances of the year. Taking into consideration the final ranking, CICLOPE Festival gives a Special Award to:
PRODUCTION COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to production companies which have been credited in 3 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using Production Company credits across all Awards categories. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one company.
DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR
This award is open to directors which have been credited in 2 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using Direction credits across all Awards categories.
VISUAL EFFECTS COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to VFX companies which have been credited in 2 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using VFX credits in the Brand Content / VFX and Music Video / VFX categories. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one.
ANIMATION COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to animation companies which have been credited in 2 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using Animation Company credits in the Post-Production / Animation for Video Games , Post-Production / 2D Animaton, Post-Production / CGI Animation and Music Video / Animation categories. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one company.
EDITING COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to editing companies which have been credited in 2 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using Editing Company credits in the Post-Production / Editing and Music Video / Editing categories. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one company.
MUSIC COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to music companies which have been credited in 2 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using Music Company credits in the Original Music, Licensed Music and Adapted Music categories. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one company.
SOUND COMPANY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to sound companies which have been credited in 2 or more commercials, music videos or short films in the competition. The ranking is calculated using Sound Company credits in the Sound Design category. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one company.
ADVERTISING AGENCY OF THE YEAR
This award is open to agencies which have been credited in 3 or more shortlisted commercials, music videos or short films. The ranking is calculated using Advertising Agency credits across all Awards categories. Offices under the same ownership/parent group will be considered as one company.
BRAND OF THE YEAR (New!)
This award is open to brands which have been credited in 3 or more shortlisted commercials. The ranking is calculated using Client credits across all Awards categories.
According to the points system, each company receives:
– 25 Points for a Grand Prix
– 15 points for a Gold award
– 7 points for a Silver award
– 3 points for a Bronze award
– 1 point for a finalist position
IMPORTANT: The scores are calculated based on the information provided by the entrant companies; it is their duty to ensure the correct companies and individuals are appropriately credited.
