Vicky Ferraro is Executive Producer at Wave Studios NY, joining in 2018 to help launch their offices in Soho, bringing with her over 20 years of advertising experience.
Her career began as a producer on the agency side at JWT New York, where she spent several years working on high profile projects, Super Bowl commercials among them. She then made a move to the network side producing award-winning promos at PBS in Washington DC for programs such as Frontline and Masterpiece Theater.
But it was her passion for sound that led her to the path of audio post-production where she spent twelve years at Sound Lounge in NY. During this time, she had a successful tenure as Executive Producer building relationships and supervising projects for virtually every top agency in the country, with brands including Verizon, Budweiser, Pepsi, McDonalds, and American Express to name a few.
At Wave NY, she oversees production and manages operations and sales. It’s her diverse background and agency experience that help her better understand her client needs.
In the two years since she joined Wave, she’s produced award-winning work including the esteemed New York Times campaign with Droga5, “The Truth Is Worth It”, which swept the awards circuit for sound design and mix in 2019. Most recently, their Smirnoff campaign with 72andSunny, “Infamous Since 1864”, has been honored for its mix at both AICP and AMP, where it also won Best in Show. Additionally, Wave has been honored as Sound Company of the Year by both The Ciclope Festival 2019 and Shots America 2020, and shortlisted by Creativity 2020.
