Born in São Paulo from Belgian parents, Pierre lived his childhood between France and Brazil. While graduating from film school at ECA-USP in SP, he started shooting music videos and documentaries in the “mini-Dv / end of film era”, which took him gradually to shoot commercials and indie feature films.
Today his resume spreads all over audio-visual categories, from Berlinale awarded films such “The way he looks” and “Joaquim”, to acclaimed commercials such as “Whatsapp – Carnaval” awarded in Cinematography at CICLOPE Latino in 2020.
Pierre transits easily in a vast category of commercials, from realistic dramas to elegantly light comedies and high-performance car commercials. This led him to win many awards in Cinematography in the past years such as a Gold for “Volkswagen – Ali” at El Ojo de Iberoamerica 2018, Merit in Cinematography at the ADC Awards 2019 for “CCSP – Welcome to the unknown”, Bronze at Clio Awards 2018 and Cannes Lions 2018 Cinematography shortlist for “Médecins du Monde – Shut up death”, and D&AD 2019 shortlist for “Pinacoteca – Radical women”, among others…
Pierre is represented by Murtha Skouras talent agency for USA and Asia, and Api-Corp talents for Europe.
