Dann is Executive Creative Producer for The Elements Music, a Los Angeles and London Music Production and Sonic Branding Company.
Growing up on sets and in studios, the daughter of an advertising head, gave her an early entrée into the worlds of advertising and entertainment.
She began her career as a singer-songwriter, releasing her first single with Skint Records at age 17 and going to work at world famous recording studios, Metropolis, where she met and ended up working with many notable producers and artists, including Ian Brown. She also did session work on commercial projects, which eventually led her back into advertising.
In 2006 she sang a cover of Peggy Lee’s ‘Fever’ and became the voice of the FIFA World Cup for Mastercard. The track was co-produced by Andy Carroll, who brought Dann on to run the advertising side of his music production company at the time, Soundfly.
After several years producing for brands including Nokia, Orange, BMW, she took some time to have a family, before re-uniting with Andy in 2016, now Creative Partner with The Elements Music.
Since returning to advertising, Dann has produced spots for global brands Toyota, Ford, Nike, John Lewis, and the multi award-winning VR-wearing Samsung ‘Ostrich’.
She has worked to support female composers in advertising, speaking on panels for Women in Film Composition and also on parenting and working in a transatlantic advertising company.
During lockdown, she and Elements partner, J Bonilla, created Isolation Radio Station sharing playlists from friends in the industry with text and video messages from quarantine to inspire and partnered with industry publication, Shots on a Q+A with featured playlists to amplify and share the story.
The continued growth and success of Isolation Radio Station has been overwhelming and has led to new creative projects currently in production.
