Natalie Kingston, ASC

Natalie Kingston is an Emmy-winning cinematographer known for her striking, emotionally driven visual language. Her work on the Apple TV+ limited series Black Bird earned her a Primetime Emmy, making her the first woman to win in any narrative television cinematography category.

Kingston’s work has screened at festivals including Camerimage, Cannes, Tribeca and SXSW. Her feature film, Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer, directed by Tolga Karaçelik, won the Audience Award at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.

Her other films also include Lost Bayou and Shapeless, both recognized for their evocative imagery and emotional depth.

Outside of film and television, Kingston lenses music videos and commercials. She has collaborated with artists including Billie Eilish, and her commercial work has been recognized at Cannes Lions.

Based in Los Angeles, Kingston is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Television Academy.
