CICLOPE FESTIVAL ⟶
CICLOPE Festival celebrated its 10th edition on November 7 & 8, with the most crowded event so far. About 800 producers, creatives, marketers and directors from all over the world –from the US to Japan, including Brazil, Egypt, Australia Russia and Malasya– attended the event at Delphi Filmpalast, a new and bigger venue in the newly awakened center of West Berlin.
This year, CICLOPE’s community enjoyed more than 20 talks focused on film craft, advertising and creativity, with a line-up of speakers that included directors Traktor, Ian Pons Jewell, Sheila Johansson, Miles Jay, Academy award nominated cinematographer Ellen Kuras, Mike Byrne (Global CCO, Anomaly), David Kolbusz (CCO, Droga5) and David Rolfe (EVP, Director of Integrated Production at BBDO), among many others.
Meanwhile, the jury chaired by Dinah Rodríguez (Park Pictures), Robin Shenfield (The Mill), Alice Bottaro (Antoni) and Seth Wilson (Somesuch), chose -among more than 1,000 entries- the most well-crafted works of the year in 34 categories.
Based on a points system where all credited companies receive 1 (one) point for a finalist submission, 3 (three) points for a Bronze award, 5 (five) points for a Silver award, 7 (seven) points for a Gold award and 20 (twenty) points for a Grand Prix, CICLOPE Festival also delivered special awards to:

Animation Company of the Year: Le Cube
Editing Company of the Year: Final Cut
Sound Company of the Year: Wave Studios
Music Company of the Year: Soundtree Music
