Festival FAQs
PASSES
Can I purchase multiple passes at once?
Yes, you can register as many attendees as you need and purchase the passes altogether in the same transaction.
What's included in a Festival pass?
With the Festival pass, you get full access to the Festival including all the talks, the Fringe events happening in the evening around the city, the Pre-Awards Cocktail Hour and the CICLOPE Awards Ceremony on Thursday 8 October, plus digital access to the talks for 30 days post-Festival.
Do you offer any discounted passes?
We offer a discounted rate for students enrolled in full-time education and also for those aged 30 or younger. Please note, proof of enrollment (for the Student pass) or proof of age (for the New Talent pass) is required for these passes. Please see here for all the passes available.
Can I transfer my pass to a colleague if I can no longer attend?
We understand that plans can change and would be happy to transfer your pass to a colleague. Please contact us at accreditations@ciclopefestival.com.
Please note, once you have collected your badge, it is non-transferable.
Can I receive a refund or credit if I cancel my booking?
We are unable to offer refunds, or credits for any current or future Festivals. If you’re no longer able to attend, it is possible to transfer your pass to a colleague.
Do your prices include tax?
Our prices include VAT at 19%. Because the event takes place physically in Germany, the “place of supply” is legally deemed to be Germany. This means we are required to charge the local German VAT of 19% to all attendees, regardless of their company’s home country.
You may be able to reclaim this tax. Your accounting team may be able to apply for a refund directly through the host country’s tax authority as a non-resident business. Eligibility depends entirely on your specific business setup and local tax thresholds. For more information on the process, please visit here.
What currency and methods of payment are accepted?
Our pass fees are listed in Euros €. We accept all major credit and debit cards. For those purchasing 3 or more passes, you can also choose to pay by bank transfer.
