After working at Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA\HAKUHODO, TBWA\CHIAT\DAY Los Angeles, and Media Arts Lab, Motonori Sugiyama joined Accenture Song in 2020 as a founding member of Droga5 Tokyo. He is a pioneer and change agent in a new era of the industry, expanding the role and possibilities of creativity. He has worked with a wide range of clients including Apple, McDonald’s, adidas, Meta, Amazon Music, Honda, and Shiseido.
Recently, he was a part of the jury for Cannes Lions 2025 (Brand Experience & Activation), NY ADC 2025 (Advertising), ADFEST 2025 (Film, Outdoor, Press, Radio & Audio), Creative LIAisons 2025, Spikes Asia 2024 (Film), AICP Show 2024, ONE ASIA 2022 (Film), and CICLOPE Asia Pacific & Global 2021. In the 2022 Agency of the Year Awards for Japan/Korea at Campaign Asia-Pacific, Motonori was awarded Creative Person of the Year. He was also selected for the 40 Under 40 2022 in APAC.
