Production Designer
Julija Fricsone is an award-winning production designer, based in London and LA, originally hailing from Northern Europe. Her latest feature film Last Swim won the Crystal Bear at the Berlinale in Generation 14plus competition.
Julija’s keen eye for color, texture, and composition shines through in her versatile portfolio, spanning feature films, commercials, and art projects, earning her numerous wins at prestigious festivals across the globe.
Her work was awarded in festivals such as Cannes Lions, British Arrows, Berlinale, Clio, UKMVA, Shots Awards, Webby, One Club, D&AD, LIA, CICLOPE, Camerimage, Raindance, Kinsale Sharks, Eurobest, Epica, BMVA, Berlin Commercial and others.
She has brought her visual talents to commercial campaigns for brands such as Squarespace, British Airways, Renault, Jameson, Minecraft, Sony, Airbnb, Kia and many more. Julija’s credits span international productions in Europe and beyond, reflecting her expertise in large-scale set design and cinematic storytelling.
