James Price is a celebrated British production designer for film and television, most known for his work on Bugonia (2025), Poor Things (2023), Speak No Evil (2024), and The Iron Claw (2023).
Initially an art director on projects like Paddington (2014), he transitioned to production design and is renowned for creating visually striking worlds and immersive set builds. Alongside Shona Heath, he won an Oscar and a BAFTA for Poor Things’ surreal large-scale sets, and his work with directors like Yorgos Lanthimos and Sean Durkin showcase his ability to merge realism with imaginative aesthetics. James is currently designing for the upcoming DC villain origin story ‘Clayface’, collaborating again with director James Watkins.
