Mindy Goldberg started Epoch Films in 1989 with a bold vision: To build a creative and nurturing place where talented young directors could develop and gain access to the tough commercial marketplace. Today Epoch is a leading commercial production company with an award-winning roster of groundbreaking talent. Epoch’s work has been recognized for excellence internationally. Recent awards include DGA BEST COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR in 2014 and 2018, and the GRAND PRIX at the CANNES LIONS festival in 2016.

In 2005, Goldberg began Epoch’s push into independent feature films with Sundance hit, JUNEBUG, directed by Phil Morrison and released by Sony Pictures Classics. The film received an Independent Spirit Award and Oscar Nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Amy Adams’ performance. Goldberg has gone on to produce GIGANTIC (Dir. Matt Aselton, 2009), GOODBYE TO ALL THAT (Dir. Angus MacLachlan, 2014), LOW DOWN (Dir. Jeff Preiss, 2014), and the short A FUNERAL FOR LIGHTNING (Dir. Emily Kai Bock, 2016).

Goldberg is proud to have launched and championed the careers of some of the most original, creative, and successful commercial directors and continues to discover and develop exciting new talent. Goldberg and Epoch are currently in development on two features and projects in episodic television.
