Anne Perri’s fascination with film editing led her to study Media Arts at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Specializing in Video Installation and exhibiting in galleries throughout Melbourne it was here that Anne started to hone her skills as a film editor.

Her next stop was London and in 2004 she joined The Quarry as assistant to award winning editor Paul Watts. Here she started to make waves of her own when she met director Oliver Murray and edited his first short film Treasure which went on to win multiple awards, including Best Editing for the London Short Film Festival in 2012.

Since joining Work Editorial in 2013 Anne has edited many commercials, music promos, documentaries and fashion films. In 2018 Anne and Oliver teamed up again to work on their debut feature documentary, The Quiet One, a film about the life and career of Bill Wyman, one of the founding members of The Rolling Stones. It had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2019.

In 2019 Anne won a Clio Editing Award for her film Give Time for the American Red Cross. She has also done similar groundbreaking work for the charities Hey Girls, NNAF and MSK and edited award winning commercials for Nike, Google, Meta and Vimeo to name a few. Her collaboration with director Sindha Agha has led to winning a BAFTA for the original comedy series How To Be A Person for Channel 4, now streaming on All 4 in the UK.

Anne lives and works in New York City and is represented by Work Editorial in New York, Los Angeles, and London.
