Born in Bangkok, Thailand and raised in the mountains of Nepal, Camille Summers-Valli is an acclaimed French-Australian multidisciplinary filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist. Known for her playful yet thought-provoking approach, Camille’s work envelopes the senses and organically inspires audiences to feel something deeper.
In 2022, Ad Age named Camille as a Director to Watch, recognizing her captivating influence across advertising, fashion, and film. A graduate of the internationally renowned Central Saint Martins in London, Camille’s commercial, music video, visual, photographic, and documentary work have been consistently lauded throughout the industry, including at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, D&AD Awards, AICP, CICLOPE, UK Music Video Awards and Clio Awards.
Camille is known for her award-winning mesmerizing kaleidoscopic campaign centerpiece It’s Your World to Understand for The New York Times, her UK Music Video Awards Video of the Year-winning, CICLOPE Grand Prix-winning MAMA’S EYES for pop sensation METTE, her stirring commercial Still I Rise for the United Nations International Fund for Agricultural Development, and her highly affective The Truth Takes a Journalist for The New York Times. Camille made her directorial debut with the film BIG MOUNTAIN DINÉ BIKÉYAH in collaboration with the ICA and MoMA.
Camille has worked and collaborated with a wide range of brands and artists throughout the world, including The New York Times, Nike, Adidas, Chanel, Burberry, Hermes, Haim, Gucci, Coach, METTE, Vogue, Dom Perignon, Jean Paul Gaultier, On, and the United Nations.
