Nathan Scherrer

Nathan Scherrer is the founder and executive producer of Freenjoy, an internationally recognized studio, creative agency and production company working across commercials, music videos, film, fashion and contemporary art. He’s known for bringing ambitious ideas to life with a unique creative perspective and high level of execution.

Freenjoy was built on a “for artists, by artists” philosophy: connecting artists and brands with the right collaborators to make work that feels original and unexpected. Alongside established directors, the company works with a global community of independent directors, photographers and filmmakers, allowing Freenjoy to build long-term relationships with rising talent, pair emerging artists with the right opportunities, and give them room to grow their own distinct voice.

That approach has earned the company a reputation for taste. Nathan has been recognized across advertising, music, film and entertainment award shows and festivals, including CICLOPE, Cannes Lions (including a Grand Prix win), an Emmy, LIAs, AICP, the Clios, D&AD, Shots, SXSW, TIFF, the Webbys, the UKMVAs and more. Between 2015 and 2020 he was nominated for a record-setting 8 Grammys for Best Music Video with 6 different directors, winning 3. He holds several Grammy records and has 10 nominations to date across Best Music Video and Best Music Film, most recently in 2025.

Nathan is currently in production on 5 feature films, prepping an art gallery exhibit, and continuing to develop work across commercials, music, fashion and art.
