Guy Soulsby

Hailing from a small town in the north of England, where his local college boasted a solitary Sony PD150 camera, a coveted relic of cinematic potential. Armed with the camera, the gift of the gab and plenty of ambition, he built a showreel that landed him a role in a London TV department. Over the next five years, he wrote and directed numerous promos and commercials for shows in both the UK and US.

That was followed by fifteen years as a freelance director, working globally for clients including Sony PlayStation, Samsung and Porsche, and directing talent such as David Beckham, Sir Mo Farah and Oscar winner Rami Malek.

In 2024, he co-founded MADE BY HUMANS, a leading Gen-AI creative studio working across native and hybrid production. As CCO, he oversees the studio’s creative teams and output, bringing two decades of filmmaking experience to AI-led production.
