Phie Hansen

Working in film wasn’t really the plan for Phie Hansen. But then again nor was chemistry, architecture, economics, or marketing. As such the glories of a film set was a happy discovery a little late in the game that seemed to finally allow for both a tickle of the inner technical nerd as well as a good portion of creative flexing. Certainly she has a love of the nuts and bolts of production.

Having finally found her shelf, Phie cut her teeth in South Africa and native Scandinavia, working as a producer on a series of international productions before founding the Scandinavian & Brazilian based production company Immigrant with director Rodrigo Saavedra – focusing on bringing an international roster of award winning talent to bear in the pursuit of craft at the highest level.
