Adina Birnbaum is Partner and Executive Producer at Chromista.

Over the past two decades, Adina has built a career across nearly every corner of the filmmaking process, from agency production and editorial to visual effects, telecine, experiential, and brand-side production. That breadth of experience has given her a deep appreciation for the artistry and collaboration behind every frame, and for the extraordinary community of talent whose work often lives beyond the spotlight.

Since joining Chromista in 2021, Adina has helped shape the company’s creative evolution, building on the cinematic storytelling ethos established by Darren Aronofsky, while expanding Chromista’s role in the development of these stories. She is drawn to work that is emotionally resonant, ambitious in vision and approach, and always in pursuit of craft.

For Adina, serving on the AI Craft jury is especially meaningful at a moment when the ability to create images has outpaced the creation of truly memorable films. She looks forward to recognizing extraordinary work by the same measure that has always defined great filmmaking: vision, taste, collaboration, and exceptional craft.
