Steve Rogers founded production company Revolver with business partner Michael Ritchie in 1998. Since  then, Revolver has been awarded Australian Production Company of the Year by AWARD nine times and in  2025, was named the winner of the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Lions.  

Steve, who in addition to his work through Revolver in Australia, is represented by long-term production  partners and close collaborators Biscuit Filmworks in the UK and US, is consistently ranked among the top  ten directors globally. 

He ranked first in Campaign UK’s 2023 best directors list and was named Australian Director of the year by AWARD for the past four years consecutively. His accolades include multiple Cannes lions (including a  Titanium and two Grand Prix), D&AD yellow pencils, a Clios Grand Prix, a CICLOPE Grand Prix, best in show at  AICP alongside multiple accolades at The One Show, LIA and Spikes Asia. He has received nominations from both the DGA and the Emmys.  

Steve’s Dundee Super Bowl campaign for Tourism Australia received a Titanium Lion, whilst his film Starr Park was awarded two Yellow Pencils at D&AD and the Craft Grand Prix at CICLOPE, where he was also named  Director of the Year in 2023.  

His work for German DIY brand Hornbach was awarded the Film Craft Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions in 2024 and his film Considering What? for Channel 4’s coverage of the Paralympic Games was most recently recognised with the Film Grand Prix in 2025.  

His most recent work includes a Super Bowl campaign for Squarespace, alongside work for brands like Apple, Hornbach, Amazon, Telstra, Cadbury and Volkswagen, to name a select few.
