Marleaux Desiré is a multi-hyphenate artist, musician and director driven by the need to create, connect and tell honest stories about culture and the human experience. Moving fluidly across music videos, commercials, art and film, Marleaux is best known for work with artists including Common & Pete Rock, Kodak Black and Uno Hype, and brands including Nike, Beats by Dre, adidas and Meta. He is also a founder of creative collective ILLIMITÉWORLD and the artist behind NOBODYDIRECTEDTHIS.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, the city shaped Marleaux’s creative voice, grounding his work in humanity and a willingness to take risks. His approach draws from classical cinema, analog photography, experimental image-making and raw documentary filmmaking, often finding new ways to put the camera inside an experience rather than outside of it. He believes in people and ideas more than budgets or names, bringing the same curiosity and intention to an underground artist as he does to the world’s biggest brands.

Director, musician and multidisciplinary artist Marleaux Desire created Illimiteworld and @nobodydirectedthis, so the work could speak before his name or title could define it.
In this talk, Marleaux explores how building a distinct creative identity gave him the freedom to move between disciplines, and how multidisciplinary creatives can develop a voice of their own without reducing themselves to a single medium, title or aesthetic.
