about the speaker

Florence has been operating as Managing Partner for Caviar Paris for 11 years, where she developed and worked with renown directors such as Henry Scholfield, Los Perez, Reynald Gresset, Keith Schofield, and Karim Huu Do. Her first experience in advertising started in Germany, her home country, at Markenfilm before moving to France where she kicked off her EP career at EuropaCorp working for Luc Besson.

Florence pursued her EP career working at Wanda for which she developed the international network before settling in France. Her engagement and forward thinking in the business lead her to be elected as the First Female President of the “Union Producteur de Cinema” 5 years ago. In January 2023 Florence became the first Woman to run the European Producers Association (Former CFPE).

We’re living in a time of transformation – where every part of the creative industry is evolving and searching for legitimacy. From clients to agencies, to producers with their directors, everyone is redefining their place.

This is creating incredible opportunities for bold, original voices – and for those willing to embrace change with curiosity and confidence. Our young directors are going to be the ones shaping this new era, they will be the future big players.

FutureFrames is a new initiative that flips the script, and places young talent at the heart of the conversation around the future of creative work.

As the advertising content landscape becomes increasingly competitive, the ability for independent production companies to thrive — and for brands to access fresh, diverse storytelling — depends on forging new kinds of partnerships.

In a timely discussion moderated by Jillian Gibbs (APR), panelists Steve Davies (APA), Florence Jacob (Caviar Paris), Matt Miller (AICP) and Clarisse Lacarrau (Fix The Future) will explore how direct relationships between brands and independent producers can serve as a powerful counterbalance to the attempts of monopolization, while opening doors to innovation, and authentic audience engagement.

Defining the Rules of Engagement When Working with Both Brands & Agencies

Who makes the rules when brands, agencies, and independents collaborate? This breakout session will challenge old norms and define the new playbook for fair, efficient, and future-ready collaboration.

Join Florence Jacob (Caviar Paris), Matt Miller (AICP) and Steve Davies (APA), as they explore with Jillian Gibbs (APR) how brands and agencies can establish clear rules of engagement and standard operating procedures when working with independent partners — ensuring collaboration that’s efficient, fair, and built for creative excellence.

Amid all the noise about technology, platforms, and business models, we often forget the most important part of the equation: the people behind the work.

More than ever, young directors are commenting on the loss of excellence and craft in our industry, and criticising the purely business-driven approach their mentors have taken toward this decline. Let’s talk about it.
