about the jury
Joseph Perkins is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of ARC, one of the southern hemisphere’s most awarded picture-post studios.
With a sharp instinct for story, Joe launched ARC in 2016 alongside editors Drew Thompson and Peter Sciberras. Just two years later, Little Black Book named it one of the top four edit houses globally – a rare feat for an emerging Australian company.
Today, ARC spans high-end creative advertising, film, and project development, supporting projects from the earliest stages to final delivery. Under Joe’s leadership, the studio has worked on critically acclaimed commercials like the Sydney Opera House’s Play It Safe, films including The Power of the Dog, and series such as Mr Inbetween. With studios in Sydney and Melbourne, ARC continues to support filmmakers in creating world-class storytelling for global audiences.
Joe’s creative vision, team-first ethos, and love of the craft remain at the heart of ARC’s rise – and its future.
