Marien

Owner and Director of Mathematic Studio, Guillaume Marien has built his career at the intersection of the audiovisual and high-tech sectors. In 1998, he founded the advertising agency CAV, which he later sold to become Partner and Executive Producer at SPARX, then one of Paris’s leading post-production groups. In 2006, he founded Mathematic, which has since grown into an internationally renowned VFX, animation and visual design studio, whose teams work alongside directors, advertisers and production companies around the world. The studio has been nominated for the César for Best Visual Effects in 2022 for Léa Mysius’s Les 5 Diables, the César for Best Documentary in 2016 for Swagger, and the Trophée César & Techniques. Mathematics has also received numerous awards, including D&AD, Clio, Emmy, MTV, CICLOPE, and Cannes Lions. 

Guillaume Marien served for three years on the New Technologies commission of the CNC and is a committed advocate of corporate social responsibility; Mathematic has been a B-Corp certified since 2026.
