Rodrigo Valdes is a Mexican filmmaker represented by Superprime Films, known for his vibrant, genre-bending style that has earned him international acclaim in the world of advertising. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and celebrated by global brands for its bold visual flair and dynamic storytelling.
On the narrative front, Rodrigo recently completed principal photography on A Billion to One, Amazon Studios’ most ambitious action-thriller in Latin America to date. Starring Omar Chaparro, Alejandro Speitzer, and Paola Núñez, the bloody, non-stop action extravaganza is set for release in December 2025. He also directed the second unit on Netflix’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
Rodrigo has brought his unique vision to a range of standout commercial campaigns, including Sky Cinema with Idris Elba, the Super Bowl LVI–aired Am I Dreaming for Visit California, Mercedes-Benz’s Magical Garage, Kahlúa’s Gasp with Salma Hayek, PETA’s No Vegans Allowed, and Mezcal Ojo de Tigre.
