about the speaker
Zico Judge was born in London and has lived in Barcelona for the past 20 years. He began his career in production driven by a lifelong love of cinema and the arts. In 2015, he joined the artist collective O Creative Studio with director Luis Cerveró as a Partner & EP, producing artistic films, commercials & music videos for the likes of Rosalia, Madonna, James Blake and A$AP Rocky, curating gallery shows for underground artists, and creating a new model of production company representing not only directors but also creative directors, photographers, graphic designers, painters and a whole host of artists, inspiring others to follow. Just before the pandemic he closed the studio and joined Blur as Executive Producer and Managing Partner.
Since then, Blur has earned multiple honors, including Cannes Lions, CICLOPE, British Arrows, D&AD, UKMVA and Eurobest awards. Zico’s work extends beyond ads and music videos—he produced Nada de Todo Esto, which was part of the official selection in Cannes Film Festival 2023, and is producing the highly anticipated feature film from Philippe Parreno, starring Charlotte Gainsbourg, Zoe Saldana and Vicky Krieps which will premiere in 2026.
In 2023, Zico co-founded ProdCo alongside director Ian Pons Jewell. From the outset, the company secured work with leading brands including Apple, Instagram, Adidas, Netflix, Ralph Lauren, Balenciaga, and Nike. ProdCo has swiftly carved a name for itself as a creative-driven production company, distinguished by its commitment to mentorship, emerging talent, and exceptional craft. By empowering directors to take risks and an unwavering focus on quality, the company has elevated its roster and redefined industry standards for consistency and creative excellence. He is currently in pre-production on Ian Pons Jewell’s debut feature film which shoots next year.
In his spare time he is a contributing editor for Apartamento Magazine specializing in photography and cinema.
