Daniel McKee

Daniel McKee is a Film Programmer and Filmworker whose career has spanned curation and community-building within commercial and independent film. In 2017, he founded Directors’ Library, an independent platform and resource for the creative industries, where he also hosts Assembly, an intimate live format for filmmakers to discuss their practice. In 2026, he co-founded DIRECTORY with director Ian Pons Jewell, an initiative advocating for human discovery, local connection, and collaboration across regions, roles, and filmmaking formats.
