Daniella Schuarts and Leonardo Salomão are the Brazilian duo behind YUCA. Their work is shaped by travels, lived experiences, and a strong connection to visual arts and analog experimentation. Their practice spans live action, animation, and still photography, with a focus on narrative forms that embrace intuition, emotion and visual experimentation.

For more than a decade, Cerveza Victoria has celebrated Día de Muertos by honoring Mexico’s traditions, culture and stories. With Y a ti, ¿Quién te espera?, the brand went deeper into local culture, to tell a universal story about love.
At a time when AI is reshaping creativity, Victoria, Wieden+Kennedy and YUCA chose a decidedly human approach: more than 2,500 scenes individually drawn and painted by hand, embracing craft, imperfection and the human touch – and the idea that the more deeply rooted a story is in where it comes from, the further it can travel.
