Rupert Reynolds-MacLean is a New Zealander who has served as Managing Director of Biscuit Filmworks UK since 2017, bringing a decade of prior London experience across production and sales. 

Under his leadership, Biscuit has become one of the most decorated companies in commercial production. The company has been named #1 Production Company by Campaign Magazine for four consecutive years and by Televisual in both its main and peer-reviewed lists. In 2026, Biscuit took the top spot at The British Arrows (having also won in 2022 and 2023) and was named Production Company of the Year at the AdAge A-List & Creativity Awards. In 2025, Biscuit won Production Company of the Year at both CICLOPE and Creative Circle, and at Cannes Lions claimed Grand Prix for both Film and Film Craft, and 3rd place in the Palme d’Or. 

Work he has contributed to has won major awards at CICLOPE, D&AD, Cannes Lions, Kinsale Sharks, Shots, The Webbys, British Arrows, UK MVA, Clio, Campaign Big, and BAFTA.
