Zee Ntuli is a director who bridges the gap between the tangible and the abstract. As a storyteller, writer, and director, Zee explores conceptual worlds with a unique perspective, weaving intricate tapestries that delve into the essence of the human experience.
Currently ranked the number 1 director in South Africa, Zee’s work has consistently resonated on a global scale – earning honours at Cannes Lions, The Clios, The One Show, and Loeries. With Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Glass Lions, a Gold Pencil, and several Clio awards under his belt, Zee continues to create work that is as impactful as it is inventive. In 2024, he served on the Cannes Lions Film Craft Jury, further affirming his standing in the industry.
Zee’s most recent narrative work as the series director on Reyka – an International Emmy-nominated crime thriller starring Iain Glen and Kin Engelbrecht – showcases his talent for blending raw human emotion with abstract visuals. Reyka premiered at the Monte Carlo Television Festival, was selected by Variety as one of the 10 Buzziest Shows at MipTV, and has been broadcast in over 80 territories worldwide.
