Robin Brown is a visual artist and production designer specializing in creating visual landscape, fictional settings, and exacting period recreations that draw character and narrative through environment, known for producing memorable iconic designs for film projects, music video, art installations, and fashion shows. 

He trained at Hornsey College of Art and majored in furniture design, becoming an award winning Production Designer working in the film and design industries for over 30 years. 

He designed Eulogy for series 7 of Black Mirror, The Crow for Lionsgate Pictures, and Northern Soul for Universal Pictures, and multiple short films including the dystopian Iron Sky music video for Paolo Nuttini, Mercedes’ Immortal for Sebastian Strasser, and the 1923 period recreation of the Targa Floria Motor Race Coppa di Sicilia for Ivan Zacharias and Ferrari

Known for such work as Madonna’s Hung Up, Robbie William’s Rock DJ and George Michael’s Fast Love, as well as cinema commercials for Mercedes Benz Berta Benz, Mercedes Benz Future 2021, John Lewis Elton John, Heineken Bond / EON’s No Time to Die and Skyfall, and legendary commercials like Levi’s Creek and Levi’s Planet

He received international critical acclaim, and press, challenging the norms of art exhibition at Frieze Art Fair’s Frieze Masters with the installations The Collector and The Asylum, presenting art as if in a real environment with provocative immersive settings, a curated and edited television film, immersive radio archive soundscape, and curated soundtrack, described as “poetry in three dimensions” by the economist

His awards include multiple Cannes Lions, The Creative Circle, CICLOPE, New York Festival, Deutsche Werber Filmpreis, Epica, The British Television Advertising Awards, D&AD, Eurobest, LIA, Clio, and the ADC.
