about the jury
Pierre Cazenave-Kaufman’s initial experience in production dates back to 2008 in the United States, where he worked as a Production Assistant for a company specializing in crafting films for French companies.
Building on that foundation, and after completing his studies in Marketing / International Business (M1) and Audiovisual Production, Media Management (M2), he went on to found two companies — one focused on music production and the other on film production.
Rather than focusing on a specific film genre, he chose to specialize in the creation of strong, original ideas — blending genres and bringing together diverse talents.
In 2017, he launched a new film label called SOLDATS, through which he has contributed to projects for prominent brands such as Citroën, Renault, Club Med, L’Oréal, Samsung, Yves Saint Laurent, Cacharel, Oenobiol, Tissot, and Biotherm.
The films produced under his direction have been widely recognized at prestigious festivals, including the Cannes Lions, D&AD, and One Show, earning over 150 awards in less than eight years, including several Grand Prix, one of which was awarded at Cannes.
Notably, a short film he produced was shortlisted for the Oscars in 2018. He also collaborated on a documentary with Canal+ and the Fondation Vuitton highlighting the extraordinary work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
In 2022, his team released their first feature film, I Love Greece, under Soldats Features, and are currently developing three new projects.
