Kabelo Moshapalo’s journey began as a self-taught illustrator, seamlessly translating his artistic talent to the digital canvas, a foundation that shapes his distinctive blend of creative leadership and technical expertise. Throughout his 24-year career, he has made a significant impact on the creative industry, while consistently driving innovation and raising the bar for creative excellence. 

Kabelo plays an influential role in shaping the creative industry through his leadership in key industry bodies. He currently serves as Deputy Chairperson of the Creative Circle and Chairperson of the Loeries, reflecting his commitment to driving creativity, excellence and transformation across the advertising landscape. He’s a highly respected judge on both local and international award panels, including Cannes Lions, The One Club Show & ADC, and the London International Awards. His own celebrated work has been showcased and awarded at these very festivals. Kabelo’s extensive experience spans multiple prestigious festivals and diverse categories, while his own work has received global recognition, reinforcing his influence in the advertising industry. 

Outside of his professional life, Kabelo is a devoted family man with a deep passion for basketball and hip-hop music. He has a keen interest in the vibrant culture of street art and music, as well as the powerful role technology plays in shaping and evolving these creative expressions.
