Gavin Lester is a seasoned creative with nearly 30 years of advertising experience spanning two continents. After landing at Zambezi as Partner & Chief Creative Officer in 2017, he has worked across categories for clients like Beats by Dre for Powerbeats Pro, KFC, Audi, Google TV, Sony North America, Sony PlayStation, Lexus, Netflix, Nintendo, Sprint, Comcast, and most recently, LPL Financial and Liquid I.V. Lester rose to the top of the industry working at notable agencies like 180, BBH London, GS&P, and Deutsch LA.

Throughout his career, he’s led attention-grabbing campaigns such as Google’s Year in Search 2016, which was nominated for an Emmy; work for nonprofit March Fourth, which won an Emmy; Levi’s Odyssey, which won the Gold Lion at Cannes Lions for Film, as well as most industry honors; and more. In addition to his career in advertising, Lester is a fine artist. His art intends to celebrate and explain individuality in a trending world; and encourages others to find creativity in unexpected places.
