Born in Berlin-Kreuzberg and raised between the countercultures of 70s Ibiza and 80s Berlin, Fabian Barz grew up surrounded by chaos, charm, and good taste. A solid foundation for a life in production.
He studied Communication at Berlin’s University of the Arts and kicked off at Markenfilm Hamburg. From there, he went on to TBWA\Berlin, Atletico Barcelona, Cayenne Amsterdam – with freelance stops in Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
From 2011 to 2018, he ran Tony Petersen Film Berlin. Today, he heads up production at Innocean Europe, managing work across 34 nationalities. A daily exercise in creativity and diplomacy.
He’s produced for Adidas, SEAT, Coca-Cola, Lufthansa, Becks, and more. One of his latest projects was a campaign for Reporters Without Borders with Stink Films. An initiative that picked up 75+ awards, including a Cannes Grand Prix.
Fabian believes the most effective advertising is a good story, well told.
