about the jury
Today Ed Hoadley is managing director of award-winning edit house, tenthree. But he began his journey in 2005, working at AMV in the post room. Demonstrating a keen eye for organisation and process, he later transitioned into project management, where he honed his skills working on the BT account.
In 2009, he joined Billy Mead at tenthree. At that time, the team consisted of just two editors and two suites. Over the past 15 years, Ed has helped expand tenthree from a boutique operation on Newburgh Street to a thriving studio with 19 editors today. His dedication to nurturing talent is at the core of his work.
His leadership and vision have played a pivotal role in the company’s continued acclaim, including being named British Arrows Edit House of the Year in 2025. Under his stewardship, tenthree has also earned consistent recognition at the Shots Awards and British Arrows across multiple years.
But Ed’s passion extends beyond high-profile awards – he’s devoted to nurturing talent from the ground up, building a supportive and creative environment where talent at every level can thrive. Whether it’s helping runners at the start of their journey or editors moving into broader roles, Ed champions progression, mentorship, and achievement.
