Dom Thomas is a Founding Partner of the UK/US production studio Object & Animal. Since its launch in 2019, Object & Animal has quickly built a reputation as an industry trailblazer, known for its innovative approach and commitment to creative excellence and shaping culture.
Renowned for producing high-profile campaigns, Object & Animal collaborates with the world’s most prestigious brands. Its work consistently garners critical acclaim, earning top honors at major industry events including the Cannes Lions (Grand Prix), D&AD, British Arrows, and CICLOPE. The company regularly appears on AdAge’s Top Production Companies list and has twice been named UKMVA Production Company of the Year.
With roots in music video production, Object & Animal has worked with iconic artists such as Taylor Swift, Madonna, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Radiohead, The Rolling Stones, FKA twigs and Björk.
In 2024, Object & Animal’s feature debut Daughters (directed by Natalie Rae & Angela Patton) was acquired by Netflix following a double win at Sundance. The film was also BAFTA-nominated, won a Peabody Award, and scored a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In addition to Object & Animal’s acclaimed commercial and music video work, Dom is now expanding the company’s Film & TV slate. He is currently producing the feature film While we heal (directed by Aria Shahrokshahi), shooting in Ukraine this summer.
