about the jury
Ana de Diego, founder of Spark & Riot, is a producer known for blending social impact with bold, cinematic storytelling. Her passion for documentaries began early and evolved into a mission: to integrate purpose into every stage of the production process. She began producing socially-driven content in collaboration with NGOs, using film as a tool for real-world change. Ana has led productions across the globe, building campaigns that balance creative ambition with cultural relevance. Under her leadership, Spark & Riot has become a trusted partner for agencies and brands seeking storytelling that cuts through, merging narrative craft with strategic impact.
That storytelling ethos led to IMPACT with Gal Gadot (Disney+, Imagen-nominated) and an upcoming feature on Terry Reid, co-produced with Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil. During the pandemic, she co-wrote The Miller Line, a series she sold to Gaumont Television (Narcos, Lupin). The series explores a working-class family’s fight to survive – an intimate portrait of generational resilience. Her work has screened at Cannes, TIFF, NYFF, and Berlinale.
