Walter May is a Los Angeles based Director and Creative Executive. Having led film productions for StarbucksESPN, Walmart, and Diageo, Walter has had a career of direct celebrity and sports talent such as Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, Serena Williams, and Kobe Bryant.

As a Creative Executive, Walter co-founded Side Street (now London Alley Creative Studios) to produce creative for a modern landscape whether that be advertising content as product or materials that launch startups. At LACS, he has creative directed projects for marquee brands such as NetflixSamsung, and Major League Baseball as well as for startups such as Whatnot and Queen V.

Previous to LACS, Walter helped develop Fox Networks Group‘s international branded content studio, All City, as a lead creative. He also has over 5 years experience within advertising agency walls as an internal hybryd Director/Editor/Writer/Art Director talent at 72andSunny.

In 2018, Walter directed a branded content piece for Uber called Rolling with the Champion which featured an honest political and social conversation from the perspective of NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant. The piece dominated the cultural landscape during NBA All Star weekend and went to win a Cannes Lion.

Walter’s collaborations have also won other advertising awards such as Grand EffiesOne Show AwardsCleosWebbies, and ThinkLA for his branded content directing and writing.
