about the jury

In the breaks between his habitual surf sessions, Jerad Anderson laid the foundations for Florence, a production consortium championing artists, brands, agencies, and entertainment enterprises. Alongside Florence, Jerad co-founded both Ethos and Impossible Objects, platforms dedicated to nurturing the growth of photographers and filmmakers. These collaborations range from directors and producers to VFX artists and colorists, consistently delivering innovative and critically celebrated projects in film, music videos, commercials, and beyond.

Previously a member of the indie-rock band 100 Monkeys, Jerad toured globally before immersing himself fully into filmmaking. His inaugural feature film, Girlfriend, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2010, and its subsequent accolade, the Gotham Audience Award marked a pivotal moment that accelerated Jerad’s career in production.

Passionate about helping creatives reach their utmost potential, Jerad has guided his team of filmmakers to secure prestigious awards at events such as the Tribeca Film FestivalIDFASXSW, SundanceClios, and Cannes Lions. Jerad’s nurturing business principles bring together top-tier talent from diverse mediums and industries, predicated on the belief that the more he invests in others, the more he receives in return.
