CICLOPE Festival presents The Agora (literally, “open place of assembly“), a series of round tables where attendees will be able to discuss different topics and build networking relationships with colleagues from around the world. The groups will address issues of relevance to the industry, led by an expert who will guide the conversation. Each round table will be limited to a maximum of 8 participants, so it will be a great opportunity to openly discuss and meet potential partners in a friendly atmosphere.

Only one application per company is allowed! Please note that only FULL PASS and DAY 2 PASS delegates can apply, and keep in mind that the capacity is very limited. The sole purchase of a FULL PASS or DAY 2 PASS does not assure your access to the round tables. To participate, you must apply in advance by filling out the application form below, and select only one of the available round tables.

After years of clocking in overtime for ad industry giants, many a creative or producer dreams of the moment when they can hand in their notice and become their own boss. Megan Kelly will weigh in on the challenges, rewards and revelations that come with entrepreneurism in an ever-changing media landscape. Conversation topics to include, but not limited to, lessons learned surrounding around-the-clock hours, hiring and retaining the right talent, managing finances, defining and marketing your own brand, learning to be adaptive and beyond. 

BREAKING DOWN THE BARRIERS: DOING BUSINESS INTERNATIONALLY

Graham Tyler (Partner, Kingston Smith) 
The world is getting smaller and, nowadays, building a successful business involves hiring overseas, serving clients abroad and partnering with companies anywhere. Moderated by Graham Tyler, this round table will include (but won’t be limited to) topics such as employment issues, cultural influences, cross-border taxes and the impact of political changes in the global market.
