Sevda Cemo is Head of Integrated Content at DDB Sydney. She has made a career out of embracing opportunities to collaborate with creative agencies, brands, production partners and innovative platforms. Having spent well over a decade in advertising and marketing, Sevda has been responsible for many of the most iconic cross-platform projects to arise out of Australia including the multi-Cannes Gold Lion winning Four’n Twenty Magic Salad Plate and the multi-Cannes Lion winning Guide Dog Australia Support Scent. She has also produced internationally awarded campaigns for the National Bank of Australia, Tetley Tea, RACV, Carlton Mid, Carlton Dry, Victoria Bitter (VB) and Bupa Healthcare.
Before leading the production charge at DDB, Sevda was at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne (Campaign Brief’s Creative Agency Of The Year, for six years and Australia’s most effective agency of the year, three years running) and spent time in New York at creative hot shop Johannes Leonardo working on bespoke projects for such brands as Sony and Google. Sevda prides herself on always working to the very simple principle – that executing an idea brilliantly is as equally important as having the idea in the first place.
