He was born in the midnight of a warm August night in 1977. His addiction to night life dates back to those days. Just like every Turkish guy out there he grew up on the streets, he went into sales business in very early ages. Sold Tommiks, Texas comic books and, of course, marbles. Recognizing his potential in trade, his father made him responsible for the management of their family stores in Sultanhamam. He learned to appreciate the brands and shopping through those summer internships.
When he had to make a choice for his bachelor degree in college, he followed another passion of his – the love of drama – and studied in English Language and Literature in Bosphorus University. While he was trying to pick sides between Pinter and Shakespeare, he found himself writing copy in an advertising agency. He completed his apprenticeship in the productive soils of Publicis Turkey. Many titles later he found himself as the Creative Director of the shop.
Whilst moving through the steep ladders of his career, he completed his masters degree in Advertising Creative Design in Bilgi University. He served many local and global brands and won many local and international awards. Some days he found himself in the seat of a jury or at the stage at a festival. He is currently working as the Creative Director in Manajans/Jwt whilst instructing the Copywriting for Advertising and Marketing Class in Bosphorus University.
