Rob started in the world of production as a holiday runner and then runner/pa at Tony Kaye Films. Then onto freelance location manager and crew Assistant Directing. He started his agency producing career at WCRS where he was responsible for producing TV ads for clients including BMW & Orange. He moved to BBH where he produced loads of ads for clients including Lego, Johnnie Walker and Levis. After a period back in production companies, Rob joined Wieden & Kennedy London in 2000. He built the production arm from scratch, and oversaw and produced work including many multi-award-winning Honda ads.
Rob moved to GreyLondon as Head of Production for 2.5 years. There he produced and oversaw more commercials as well as helping them move into the diversifying multi-platform work that was becoming omni-present across clients as diverse as P&G, Unilever, AOL, Visa and Remington. He then returned to Wieden + Kennedy as Operations Director/Head of production where he was charged with aligning all production disciplines and sheriffing the creative department, as well as running production and producing jobs across all platforms. Rob joined CPB as head of production in 2012, where he was renunited with team Matt & Ben. The opportunity to work with those 2 and the chance to rise with the American agency’s venture in London, was too much to miss.
