Paul Weston is Executive Producer at London based production company, Colonel Blimp.

Previously the music video arm of Blink, Colonel Blimp has, under Paul’s direction, been re-invented as a stand alone roster featuring some of the most exciting young directors around today. The company has expanded its remit to produce not only music videos but commercials, branded content, fashion films and short films. In 2015 Colonel Blimp was the most awarded production company at the UKMVAs picking up 12 nominations and 6 wins amongst other nods for several previously unheard of directors at the YDAs, the New Directors Showcase and 1.4. In the space of two years, Paul has repositioned Colonel Blimp as one of the most contemporary and exciting creative resources available to agencies and brands, working most recently with O2, Ubisoft, Ikea and the British Council.

Paul got his start in the industry working at Partizan. Climbing the ranks over a 10 year period which was the company’s busiest, during which it twice earned the Gunn Report’s ‘Best Production Company in the World’ and won the Palm D’Or in Cannes. In his time at Partizan, Paul developed a passion and talent for nurturing new directors, working closely with such directors as Traktor, Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, Nima Nourizadeh and Daniel Wolfe, at the beginning of their careers. Having made his mark at Partizan, Paul moved to new production company, Somesuch and worked alongside founders Sally Campbell and Tim Nash as Exec Producer, helping to build the company into the brand it is today.

In late 2013 Paul moved on to work at Blink Productions with his sights firmly set on Colonel Blimp.
