Oliver studied at the University of Arts in Berlin, and then went on to work in the industry as a copywriter for 15 years. He started his career in Berlin at Aimaq Rapp Stolle when the agency was founded and helped building the shop for over six years. While winning accounts such as Nike, MTV and Heineken, he became Managing Partner. Because he grew up bilingually, Oliver always wanted to work outside of Germany, so he left Berlin to join Wieden + Kennedy in Amsterdam for the global Nike account.
After returning to Berlin, Oliver set up the German office for VCCP in Berlin as Executive Creative Director. He continued to do work for Nike while also running brands like BMW Motorrad globally. He is member of the Art Director’s Club Germany since 2001, and he has won over 50 awards including 7 Cannes Lions.
