Two-time DGA Director of the Year Noam Murro directs commercials that are often humour-based and organically ironic, telling authentic stories that never feel forced. He formed Biscuit Filmworks in 2000, a commercial production company highly regarded for its smart, sophisticated work. As a nod to his range and depth, Noam was named one of the 50 most influential people of the last 20 years by Creativity, and was named the UK’s #1 director by Campaign.

Over the last two decades, Noam Murro has directed award-winning spots for brands including Guinness, Land Rover, Got Milk?, Saturn, Volkswagen, Nike, Adidas, Comcast, HBO, DirecTV, Jameson and Heineken, among others, picking up many Gold Lions from Cannes, AICP Awards and One Show Pencils along the way. He has been nominated for DGA Director of the Year seven times, and took home the honour in 2005 and in 2011. In 2008, Noam made his feature debut with Miramax’s critically acclaimed Smart People. His second feature, Warner Bros.’ 300: Rise of an Empire, debuted at #1 in March 2014 and went on to gross over $330 million worldwide. In 2015, he was invited to participate in the 25th anniversary of the Saatchi New Director Showcase at Cannes; later he was shortlisted for Director of the Year from Shots Magazine, and his Colin spot for Moneysupermarket, was part of Campaign UK’s Campaign of the Year selection. He is currently in production on a miniseries adaptation of Watership Down through the BBC and Netflix, starring James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, and Sir Ben Kingsley.
