Station was founded in 2008 when Michael teamed with several accomplished partners, including industry heavyweight and former Hungry Man Managing Partner Stephen Orent. In just a few years, Station Film has established itself as an industry leader, winning numerous awards at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, One Show and AICP Show, as well as inclusion in tastemaker Creativity’s Top Production company showcase. In 2013 the Association of Independent Commercial producers named Michael its Chairman of the 22nd AICP Show & Next Awards, one of the most prestigious advertising award shows.

A native New Yorker, Michael’s career began when he walked into the New York offices of RSA Films and asked for a job as a PA. He rose through the ranks of sales and ultimately landed in Los Angeles working for Propaganda Films and Partizan, connecting directors Michel Gondry and Traktor with iconic brands including Nike, The Gap and Levi’s.

After Propaganda closed its doors in 2000, Anonymous Content Founder and CEO Steve Golin asked Michael to join the company as Vice President/Head of Sales. Michael quickly established Anonymous Content as a world-class brand by procuring and shepherding high-profile commercial jobs for David Fincher, Frank Budgen, Mark Romanek and Malcolm Venville that won many awards.

In December 2007, Michael left Anonymous Content to form Station Film. Since its worldwide launch in February of 2008 Creativity voted Station Film one of the top 20 Production Companies in the world in only its first six months in business and just recently ranked Station the No. 3 most awarded production company in the world. Michael continues to manage some of the best directors in the business while nurturing the next generation of young talent under the Station Film banner.
