Kerstin Heffels joined the ad industry back in 1989. While living in Hamburg she worked for AP Lintas, KNSK/BBDO; in 1992 she was appointed Head Of TV for the DMB & B network in Germany. In 2002 she moved to Berlin to work as a freelance producer for HEIMAT, International and MC Saatchi. During the last decade she became one of the key people for the outstanding TV reputation of HEIMAT in Germany producing both traditional film and integrated campaigns. She works for the DIY/Home Improvement store chain HORNBACH as her key client, and many others.
She won numerous awards for her projects including the first ever Cannes Integrated Silver Lion for Germany, LIAAs, Eurobest. CLIOs, D&AD, New York Festivals, Grand Prix ADC of Europe, ADC of Germany for the “Hornbach Hammer” and the “Infinite House” short film ranked among the 10 ads worth spreading of TED in 2010.
