As Executive Production Director at R/GA, Kat oversees TV, film and content production development for R/GA and supports offices across the R/GA global network. Recent notable productions include award winning campaigns for the Ad Council, Beats by Dre and Beats Music and integrated campaigns for Samsung, Jet.com, and E*Trade. Kat has been a consistent part of the advertising community on the West Coast for over 18 years and has built many key relationships with production partners that have been crucial for R/GA’s production capabilities. Her start in the industry as a Copywriter also helps her to be a very creative and solutions oriented producer.
Prior to joining the R/GA team at the end of 2013, Kat held numerous staff and freelance positions at BBDO, GS&P, Media Arts Lab, Google, BSSP, Victors & Spoils, Ground Zero and produced work for clients such as: Apple, Google, ESPN, Priceline, Sprint, Mars Food, Frito-Lay, Comcast, Toyota, Kohl’s, MINI, Columbia Sportswear, Visa, AT&T, Hewlett Packard and many more. Kat has also been a part of work that has been recognized by the Clio Awards, Cannes Lions, One Show, Effie Awards, Communication arts, Women’s Image Network Award and is currently nominated for an Emmy for the Ad Council Love Has No Labels work.
Kat has a BA in Communication Studies from Northeastern University in Boston where she also studied Biology and English. Kat began her career in advertising as an unpaid intern and writer before switching into production. Kat is also a volunteer with the SPCA and a mentor in the Leukemia Society’s TNT program where she helps participants fundraise and train for triathlons.
